Finally, I have fine-tined this final version in which the new offsets for full 6-digit COM frequencies are used. 05C4 (COM1 Active) 05CC (COM1 Standby) 05C8 (COM2 Active) 05D0 (COM2 Standby) Now it can support and display 8.33 kHz version radio frequencies: I am happy to share the Config file : RADIOS STACK v12.mcc (194.97 KB) KK

AAs I am bran new to this. What do I do with the files? I am currently constructing the Main board; The Arduino board is pending connectors. A second question is that the 14 segment Display has pins not in it. Is this a problem?

Thank you for the updated files. I have a question so I can understand better on how to use them in X-Plane. The config list refers to "Com 1 active on" And "Com 1 Active off." how do I handle them? Do I set them to the same or can I ignore the "off" ones? Thanks in advance! Anyone out there with X-Plane experience? I welcome any help I can get. Newbie Mark H.

Well the idea of using on and off is to simulate the real radio, to be able to display or not display the characters on the diaplays. It means, if you want to simulate turning off the radio, since there is no physical switch to cutt off the power to turn them off, we configure the displays that way with one configuration to display the characters and another one to hide them, which we can assign to the battery and avionics master switch. If you don't want to simulate turning on and off the radio through these switches, than you can only use the on config. I hope i have explained it clear, if not please let me know.

Thank you, that clears it up completely. Wouldn't the same thing be achieved by setting the "preconditions" or is it there for other programs that don't have preconditions?

Yes exactly, you must use the preconditions for these scenarios anyways, for example: if master switch is on, than turn on com 1 active (in this case you use com 1 active on configuration). If master switch is off, turn off com 1 active (in this case you use com 1 active off configuration). So you will have to use preconditions anyway together with both "on" and "off" configuration of the displays, if you want to simulate turning on and off the radio.

Sure, no problem. Once you finish, it would be great to see pictures of the radio

Unfortunately, that may be a while. Remember a while back I said everything went dark after installing the ADF line of parts? Well it turns out all of the drivers are now inop. I seems the inputs are fine but no out puts. Now I have to replace them all and start again.

Sad to hear that. I suggest you use sockets, that way it will be very easy to change a damaged chip or display.

Yes, that is a value added option. I would like to figure out what took the first set out though. I have all the chips back in their sockets so today I will be verifying them before I add the displays.

I do have a question regarding "ADF1 display." and ADF2." What are they? So I can program them in Mobiflight X-Plane

I don't seem to be getting the "DIN" signal for the Max driver chip. I think it is mapped incorrectly. (MAX ADF)
