Programming a yoke and petals

I love how there is tons of videos on how to make a custom Yoke and rudder pedals, but I have not been able to find a website, or instructional video on HOW TO PROGRAM THE YOKE AND THE PEDALS. Am I in the twilight zone here, or are we all supposed learn a programming language and discover how to do it ourselves? You guys that home built your yokes are doing is somehow. Exactly how are you doing it?
