Hi Juan I'm currently using only two Arduino Mega 2560 but not all encoders are connected (need more pins though). If you go with Leo Bodnar cards it is easier but they are more expensive. If you go with Arduino you and want all the switches and encoders you need 4 or 5 Arduino Megas (didn't count yet sorry). Regards Albeagle.

Hi, Im Pablo from Mexico I working on beech baron simulator for long time ago. Now im checking some problems with my radiostack ( with arduino mega) Do you think that can i control 8 displays 5 digits (0.31 ) With 1 arduino mega ( my question is about the current limit of the arduino ( 500 mAp. ) Its this enought for all display ?? Thanks for your support Pablo Hi Pablo, I suggest you use external power for those displays. You can use a cheap power supply for that for example. You can find how to wire it in the website, otherwise ping me and I will help.
