Hi, Im ryan from Indonesia. I've been playing simulator since 2010. FSX of course. I learn everything about that, from propeller plane to jet engine. I also learn A2A cessna from cold and dark and I think Its really good to have one simulator in your room. coz I'm really exited about flying, especially navigate in VOR to VOR in mountainous area. okay, let's straight into the point, I want to make Cessna 172 home cockpit first and I need to make every detail. my plans in the future is making 737-800NG cockpit. but since PMDG 737 is a complicated aircraft, I would start with the easiest one. Cessna 172. I already had saitek throttle quadrant and yoke and rudder. I bought it 2 years ago from my friend very cheap. it was about $80. now all I need is building the main panel. look, in my country, alucoband is really expensive. like $10 for 1x1 meter sq. I want to use a cheaper option which is a transparan acrylic board. what do you guys think? is that possible? later on, I will covered one layer with a sticker or vinyl. so it will gives a best look for the cockpit.
