Larry,
3/4 electrical conduit (PVC) is close to 1 inch Diameter (50 thou oversized, not sure what the tolerances are on those parts).

They are exact. The 1" tube will fit perfectly into the CH yoke. I ended up getting an aluminum tube from Onlinemetals, they are local here in Seattle,WA. and did a will-call pickup. All good.
