Hi I bought the 737 mcp. First of all, In the parts_list.xlsx file, a lot of the links are broken. Secondly, it is now explained where to solder which component. And...there is a lot of mismatches. For example, in the part list file you wrote "Max7219" and in the PCB itself you wrote "74hc595". So....what should I do?  |

Hi there, I just replied to your email, please check it out and let me know if you still have any questions. For the rest that might have the same issues, the parts list might be outdated, as I can not maintain the links, but please use the names of the components listed there to search on ebay or aliexpress. I used the parts list as reference. In the attached pictures you can see the names of the components and which component where is placed. V1.4 I have added two 74HC595 chips to handle the LED's with external power. The Max7219 chips are marked as Max and are longer, whereas the two 74HC595 chips are marked with their actual names. Hello there, I bought the MCP 1.4 project and I found some issues regarding the parts list given with the file, the aliexpress and ebay links seem to not work and I cannot get a hold of the parts. thanks.

Oh also could you quickly guide me to how I could make the frontplate made by acrylic and how to make it elgible for CNC cutting and engraving?

Hi that depends on what CNC or laser engraver and program you are using. That's why I have included the CAD files. If you do it yourself you use them and convert them accordingly. If someone else makes it for you, all they need would be the cad file. Do you own a CNC or laser cutter or are you planning to send it to someone else. I use a Chinese CNC and create the cutting and engraving paths with ArtCam program. Cad files  ArtCam file  Here is the ArtCam files which has the MCP and the Airbus A320 Faceplate. Hello, I'm in the process of assembling the pcb and I have a few questions: what are the values of the resistors R4,R5,R10,R11,R8,R9,R25,R20,R6,R7,R2 and R3? In addition, these resistors are not included in the list of components. Next, What is the role of Gear1 and 2?
Finally, do you need a rotary switch? In some photos, it is placed and in others, there is not. I'm a little confused. Thank you in advance.
