Hi, I am an absolute beginner on this  I need some clarification about components in detail. - Does it matter EC11 Rotary encoder have 30 position? Because I can find 20 position encoder in local stores.
- I can not find 1pc Rotary switch where we are going to use. Also I wonder how many position should support?
- Which is correct for 9mm spacers M2 or M2.5?

Thanks in advance - For the EC11 encoder it doesn't matter. You can use 20 position as well. I suggest you search for long shaft like these ones Rotary encoder link- This rotary switch works great. 1 pole 5 works fine. Practically it needs only 2 position (one for 100 and one for the 1000 range) Rotary switch link- Spacers - you can use either ones, if needed you can drill a bit. |
