quick question regarding the ADF: if I don't put on the parts for the ADF, will the rest work as it should? You need to put at least the max chips and the displays (there are also the capacitors and resistors), because they are daisy chained. |

I see the resistors are a bit different then V2, but they are clearly marked on the board, which is great,
is there any change in the capacitors? or is it still only 100n and 10u?

a few small mistakes on the board silk - R105 is marked as R105 instead of the value, you may want to fix that for other people getting the files, and what's R105 value? - it's in the middle of the board right between NAV2 and COM2
also, all the + signs on the top LEDs are missing? I imagine they are all the same direction? just making sure.

2 more questions :
1. what are the com1 ext and com2 ext pin headers?
2. the BOM for the V2 has 100R resistors instead of the 4.7K ones in V3.1, better update that somewhere? but since I am missing some, is there a different value I can use for the few missing ones?
I have 3.9K and 5.6K, will there be any problems using them or should I better wait for Ali to send them over?

Com1 Ext and Com2 Ext are extra pins in case you want to use switches to turn on or off the COM1 and COM2 like the real one. At the time of design I found some potentiometers with such switches, but they were difficult to mount, that's why I left them there in case someone wants to use those extra pins.  2. Well can you let me know which ones you are exactly missing? Maybe a picture of the board so I can see where they located. |
