For the OMI LED's, maybe it is a good idea to use top flat LED's and stick paper printed letters on top, just an idea.  |

I was checking with my instructor, and the OMI LED's (and ADF) are not used anymore anywhere around the world, so no need to dedicate any time on improving them.
