Hi,
I'm almost done with the FCU v1.6 but my board has this odd behaviour;
When I use HDG or ALT rotary independently everything works great but as soon as I connect both of them and turn whichever knob one step the other one will stop working. But when I turn the same knob one step more the other one then works. This behaviour happens on both rotaries but nowhere else.
Everything else works wonderfully so this is just a minor setback. Do you have an idea what could be wrong or where to look more carefully? I've already checked every soldering and connection.
Thanks in advance, Ville-Valtteri

The only mistake I found was that they are named wrong (HDG and ALT should have changed places.) You can correct them in mobiflight by swapping their names (ALT pin number should be named as HDG and HDG pin number as ALT). Please check again the mobiflight configuration, maybe there is any precondition or any other config conflict. I would suggest to try the following: - Save the current config that you have (which you can upload any time later) - Create a new config from scratch, using only HDG and ALT Knobs without any precondition or other transformations to see if the issue persists. Please let me know the outcome

It was as simple as a ball of solder rolling between the Arduino pins, which is why I didn't find it yesterday. This was a fun project!
Cheers, Ville-Valtteri

There are no issues with the displays. Have there been problems? If so what kind? Ville-Valtteri

I have been checking the schematics and couldn't find any problems, but since I don't have the boards myself, wanted to know if someone got it working so he can focus maybe on the soldering or the components.

Regards Anthony I have one thing on my mind with this specific situation is that when my arduino isn't connected the LEDs blinks like there is no tomorrow, so maybe broken grounding on arduino? Are you using same device to power the board and connect the arduino?
