Hi everybody,
just started with the construction of my Cessna flight simulator cockpit. First question: anyone knows the distance between the firewall (the separation plate between the engine cowl and the cabin) and perpendicular of the underside of the instrument panel? I estimated the width of the foot bay to be about 40 centimeters depending on the height where you actually measure, but can't find a decent picture that tells me the earlier mentioned distance. I found some simple drawings from which I can extract a dimension of 17,5 inch i.e. about 45 cm, but can somebody confirm this? Also the height of the foot bay (from bottom floor to highest underside of dashboard panel)? Thanks for your thoughts. Bart

You can find almost all dimensions of the Cabin there. There are over 20 pics I think. Here is the link again just in case: Cabin dimension Pictures

I did indeed, but I did not find that measurement. Anyway, unless somebody can help me out I will go for 40 cm. That will give me ample space for future pedals as well. Thanks, Bart
