Hi there Rennies For the Instruments I'm using an Acer AL2223W 22" Monitor (Dimensions: 20.3" x 16.5" x 8.1"). I didn't by the monitor, I had it laying around. First of all thanks for your blog.. it's currently my best source for building my prototype... very inspiring and technically precise
I have a question regarding the screen based gauges
How do you mount the screen on the 4mm panel ? Did you dismantled the cover ?

Did you dismantled the cover ? Thanks in advance for your help Yes I dismantled the cover and glued the screen to the back side of the panel. The best option would be mounting it somehow to the panel, but since I wasn't going to use that screen anywhere else, I decided to just CA glue it to the panel. |
